David Cohen in Wellington is great Dad and his book might be of interest to readers. I'm very close to some of these issues but don't know a safe way to discuss them online. Besides all of the other issues privacy and safety is a real concern for most parents in these types of situations. There are also some delicate politics with schools to factor into the debate.
